Commemorative Meditations Honoring the Birth Anniversary of Swami Sri Yukteswar
On May 6, 9, and 10, Self-Realization Fellowship monastics will conduct special online meditations to honor the birth anniversary (May 10) of Swami Sri Yukteswar, guru of Paramahansa Yogananda and paramguru of all SRF/YSS devotees.

Commemorative Meditations in SRF/YSS
In Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, certain commemorative meditations are conducted throughout the year to honor the enlightened gurus in the SRF lineage.
The teachings of SRF/YSS are founded upon the original Christianity of Jesus Christ and the original Yoga of Bhagavan Krishna. The spiritual lineage of SRF/YSS consists of these two great avatars and a line of exalted masters of contemporary times: Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswar, and Paramahansa Yogananda (last in the line of SRF/YSS Gurus).
Swami Sri Yukteswar Birthday Commemorative Six-hour Meditation
Saturday, May 6
This meditation, which will be conducted in English, will begin with group practice of the Energization Exercises at 7:40 a.m., and will be followed by an opening prayer, inspirational readings, devotional chanting, and periods of silent meditation throughout the day.
Schedule listed for the Pacific Time zone:
- Part 1: 7:40 – 11:00 a.m.
- Intermission: 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
- Part 2: 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
